Simplytrak System

It will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour to install the system.

All data will be stored in the cloud and will be accessible three years from the date of the installation.

You can immobilise your vehicle through the Simplytrak portal or app. The vehicle will immobilise immediately.

Each vehicle will start the day with 100 points on the scorecard. For each driver event triggered, the score reduces by 3 points, 6 points for a collision event.

Yes, but only if your vehicle has a connected camera system fitted.

The colours change depending upon the score of the vehicle. Green: 100 - 85 points Amber: 84 - 70 points Red: 69 - 0 points

The tracking device installed into your vehicle detects driver behaviour events using GPS technology and triggers events based upon thresholds programmed into the tracking unit. To improve your scorecard, you will need to be driving with more care and attention to improve driver behaviour habits such as harsh braking, harsh acceleration, harsh cornering, excessive idling and excessive speeding.

Listed below is how each event is monitored to keep you aware of how to decrease your score. Harsh Braking: The harsh braking event is triggered when the vehicle’s negative acceleration g-force is over 225mg for one second. Harsh acceleration: The harsh acceleration event is triggered when the vehicle’s centrifugal g-force is over 200mg for one second. Harsh Cornering: The harsh cornering event is triggered when the vehicle’s centrifugal g-force is over 225mg for one second whilst the vehicle is over 40kph. Excessive Idling: The excessive idle event is triggered when the vehicle has not moved for 5 minutes whilst the engine is on. Excessive Speeding: The excessive speeding event is triggered when the vehicle hits 62mph for 5 seconds. This can be altered upon request.

Using the Simplytrak portal and scorecard, you will find stored footage in the video and panic button columns.

Live playback is only available when the ignition is on or approximately 30 minutes after if this has been set to do so by Simplytrak.

Yes, you will be alerted via email.

Once you have downloaded the video footage, you can keep them for as long as you need.

Simplytrak would prefer to do this ourselves, but that’s not to say with the right tools and equipment we would be happy to let you install and de-install equipment.

Account and Security

All data is stored on Amazon Web Servers, designed to be the most secure cloud infrastructure.

Only your Account Manager can access your account but we can’t log in as we don’t have access to your chosen password. We can only reset passwords if need be.

An administration account will be set up, from there you can give access to your team with restricted access if you’d prefer.

Yes, we offer a care plan for our customers. With the large amount of equipment to monitor we can provide someone to look at your vehicles on a weekly basis, look out for issues arising, so we can arrange a service call as quickly as possible.
